Little Red Wedding

What a simple yet elegant, and beautiful wedding I got to be apart of this past weekend.
The flower arrangements were absolutely gorgeous and the backdrop provided a beautiful focal point used as the alter and the backdrop for the sweet heart table.
for the sweet heart table

I absolutely love that flower

Top view of the center pieces

The cake, left over petals from the flower girl basket

The table arrangement - each guest was given a paper fan

The sweet heart table, added red up lights to make it a touch different from the ceremony

The toss bouquet

The floral arrangments were made by Twinbrook Floral Design in Fairfax, VA they did a great job!

Wine Weddings- Centerpieces

I was looking around for some "out of the box" center piece ideas and found a few.

This first one is elegant and adorable at the same time. I love the idea its made from a wine glass. I found it on Micahels website listed as "Wedding Terrarium Table Center Piece"(wish I could  have posted the pic but the site won't let me).  I think to change it up and add more color I would do flower petals around the bottom instead of the greenery. While Micahels suggestions are great I would suggest checking the dollar store for most of the supplies. Way cheaper of course.

The second one I like alot as well. I like to all it a disposable centerpiece as you can use it as decoration, drink the wine/champegne and then be able to give the whole centerpiece away. I found this on the Christina Montemurro Photography website. To change it up a bit I would use a full bottle of wine/champgene for each table that the guests can use for the champegene toast. By placing the bottle in an ice bucket you can give the center piece away as a  favor.

I love this one too, I think I'm loving everything that has to do with wine. Anyhow, look how simple yet elegant it is. A few glasses which you again can get at the Dollar Store and a few candles and silk flowers. Super cheap, super cute, and of course super easy. This might be the winner for a DIY center piece. I found this one Bridal Snob's tumblr page.

This last one is one of my favorites, a true DIY project that you can use as a center piece for any occasion and or home decorations. I found these on the Frugal with a Flourish Blog. The blog is one I would highly reccomend. I  came across alot of great stuff when browsing around. I think finding wine bottles with different colors would look awesome for this as well - I'm thinking of putting these on my TO-DO craft list to add to another project I am currently working on.

I've got a ton more coming for "Wine themed weddings" be on the look out!

Did you have a wine themed wedding, do you have pictures? Please share I would love to see your ideas and possibly share them!
